Cappers Plant Hire recently supplied a 5 ton excavator and a telescopic handler to assist in the construction of a wind turbine in Bathgate West Lothian .

The Komatsu PC45 and operator excavated the 3 m2 foundation and 50 metres of service track for the necessary electrical cables.

The JCB 535-70 was used in the tricky lift of the fully erected 15 m turbine and mast into position.
